Steve Gielda

Steve has spent over 18 years working with sales and sales management teams in Fortune 1000 companies to improve sales performance. His performance consulting experience has focused his work in such diverse industries as manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, IT Industry and travel services. Clients have recognized Steve for his emphasis on, and willingness to forge, strong relationships built on client intimacy – and his focus on driving business results.

In the 1990s, Steve worked at Huthwaite to create unique solutions for his clients. Prior to joining Huthwaite, he was Vice President of Sales and Channel Management at CTN, an office equipment manufacturing and distribution company. Steve began his career working with Lanier Worldwide for 10 years in a variety of increasingly responsible positions, including Sales Manager and District Manager of GSA sales. He was later promoted to Regional Manager of Lanier Professional Services.

Today Steve is a principal with Sales Momentum®, a sales training organization dedicated to partnering with customers to implement highly customized performance change projects for building world-class sales teams. Steve is the author of many articles focused on sales effectiveness, effective coaching, and product launches.

Steve has worked to improve sales process and performance with clients such as: Freddie Mac, Washington Post, BlueLinx, RR Donnelly, Time Warner, STERIS, Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, Beckman Coulter, Bayer Diagnostics, Boston Scientific, and Stora Enso, UPS, Milliken, and Lakeville Motor Express.
